Daily ConfessionsWhat are you confessing? Confession is not admitting all your sins, confession is declaring your faith in God and to give evidence to what God has already promised to you in His Word. Romans 10:10 (Amplified) states "For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation." The Greek word "salvation" means deliverance, health, salvation, safety. We need to confess with our word daily our deliverance, health, salvation and safety. Below are just some of the promises in God's Word for you. The wording has been changed so as to make it your personal declaration of faith.
[Pray these four Holy Spirit prayers over you, your family, your pastors and all the saints , daily.] Ephesians 1:17-23 the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 3:14-21 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Philippians 1:9-11 And this I pray, that our love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that we may approve the things that are excellent, that we may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Colossians 1:9-14 For this reason I do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that we may have a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Deuteronomy 8:18 And I shall remember the Lord my God, for it is He who gives me power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to my fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 14:23-24 And I shall eat before the Lord my God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of my grain and my new wine and my oil, of the firstlings of my herds and my flocks, that I may learn to fear the Lord my God always. Deuteronomy 28:1-13 Now it shall come to pass, if I diligently obey the voice of the Lord my God, to observe carefully all His commandments which have been commanded to me, that the Lord my God will set me high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon me and overtake me, because I obey the voice of the Lord my God: Blessed shall I be in the city, and blessed shall I be in the country. Blessed shall be the fruit of my body, the produce of my ground and the increase of my herds, the increase of my cattle and the offspring of my flocks. Blessed shall be my basket and my kneading bowl. Blessed shall I be when I come in, and blessed shall I be when I go out. The Lord will cause my enemies who rise against me to be defeated before my face; they shall come out against me one way and flee before me seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing on me in my storehouses and in all to which I set my hand, and He will bless me in the land which the Lord my God is giving you. The Lord will establish me as a holy person to Himself, just as He has sworn to me, if I keep the commandments of the Lord my God and walk in His ways. Then all peoples of the earth shall see that I am called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. And the Lord will grant me plenty of goods, in the fruit of my body, in the increase of my livestock, and in the produce of my ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to my fathers to give me. The Lord will open to me His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to my land in its season, and to bless all the work of my hand. I shall lend to many nations, but I shall not borrow. And the Lord will make me the head and not the tail; I shall be above only, and not be beneath, if I heed the commandments of the Lord my God, which have been commanded to me, and I am careful to observe them. Joshua 1:7-8 I am strong and very courageous, that I may observe to do according to all the law which Moses Gods servant commanded me; I do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that I may prosper wherever I go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Psalms 1:3 I shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever I do shall prosper. Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalms 141:3 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips. Proverbs 4:20-27 I give attention to my words; I incline my ear to Gods sayings. I do not let them depart from my eyes; I keep them in the midst of my heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. I keep my heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. I put away from me a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from me. My eyes look straight ahead, and my eyelids look right before you, O Lord. I ponder the path of my feet, and let all my ways be established. I do not turn to the right or the left; I remove my foot from evil. Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely He has borne my griefs and carried my sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for my transgressions, He was bruised for my iniquities; the chastisement for my peace was upon Him, and by His stripes I am healed. Isaiah 55:2 I listen diligently to the Lord, and eat what is good, and I let my soul delight itself in abundance. Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower (me) and bread to the eater (me), so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Malachi 3:10-12 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, If I will not open for I the windows of heaven And pour out for I such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for my sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of my ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for I in the field, says the Lord of hosts; And all nations will call I blessed, for I will be a delightful land Matthew 6:33 I seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to me. Matthew 7:7-8 I ask, and it will be given to me; I seek, and I will find; I knock, and it will be opened to me. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Mark 11:22-24 So Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God (or have the God-kind of faith). For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, `Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things I ask when I pray, believe that I receive them, and I will have them. Mark 16:15-18 I go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow me who believe: In Jesus name I will cast out demons; I will speak with new tongues; I will take up serpents; and if I drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt me; I will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (amplified) I endure long and am patient and kind. I am never envious, nor do I boil over with jealousy. I am not boastful or vainglorious and I do not display myself haughtily. I am not conceited, arrogant or inflated with pride. I am not rude or unmannerly and I do not act unbecomingly. Gods love in me does not insist on its own right or its own ways, for I am not self-seeking. I am not touchy, fretful or resentful. I take no account of the evil done to me and I pay no attention to a suffered wrong. I do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but I rejoice when right and truth prevail. I bear up under anything and everything that comes. I am ever ready to believe the best of every person. My hopes are fadeless under all circumstances. I endure everything without weakening. Gods love in me never fails, fades out, becomes obsolete or comes to an end. I never fail because love never fails. 2 Corinthians 3:5-6 Not that I am sufficient of myself to think of anything as being from myself, but my sufficiency is from God, who also made me sufficient as a minister of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Galatians 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon me in Christ Jesus, that I might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 5:22-25 I have the fruit of the Spirit in me, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If I live in the Spirit, I also walk in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:10 For I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that I should walk in them. Ephesians 4:22-25 that I put off, concerning my former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of my mind, and that I put on the new man which was created according to God, in righteousness and true holiness. Ephesians 4:29 I let no corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. Philippians 4:4-8 I rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! I let my gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. I am anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, I let my requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy I meditate on these things. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19 I rejoice always, I pray without ceasing, in everything I give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for me . I do not quench the Spirit. 2 Timothy 1:6-7 I stir up the gift of God which is in me. For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. James 1:22 I am a doer of the word, and not a hearer only, deceiving myself. James 4:7-8 Therefore I submit to God. I resist the devil and he will flee from you. I draw near to God and He will draw near to me. James 4:10 I humble myself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift me up. 1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore my sins in His own body on the tree, that I, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes I was healed. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore I humble myself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt me in due time, I cast all my care upon Him, for He cares for me. 1 John 4:4 I am of God, and have overcome them, because He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. 3 John 2 I prosper in all things and be in health, just as my soul prospers. Revelation 12:11 I overcame him (the devil and all his schemes) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. |
