Compassion's Touch
Visiting residents in local nursing home facilities.

Compassion’s Touch is the name of our Nursing Home Ministry that goes out two Saturdays per month to bring God’s love and compassion to the residents of those nursing homes. God has given us the desire to reach out to our elderly. Our heart is to put smiles on their faces and share the love that God has for them – but salvation is our main goal. We also pray for any needs they may have. We talk much about their families and especially grandchildren. They just light up as soon as we mention the word grandchildren or great grandchildren. They love to share their life stories with us. When you serve in this ministry you will always leave them knowing you made a difference that day. It is a great honor and privilege to visit and build relationships with them. Our team is a team and has this single heart to serve the residents of these homes!
Matthew 9:36 (NKJV), “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.”

Living Faith Fellowship Riders
Our group is an affiliate of the national group, Fellowship Riders.
|
|
|
|
Our mission is to share the love of Christian fellowship, motorcycles and the local church through safety, excellence and service. We work with and through the local church to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship through frequent, safe, and well-organized group motorcycle rides.

Young Adult
Our young adults are standing strong for Jesus.
|

|
|
The overall goal of the youth ministry is to impart the life changing truths of God's Word into the hearts of our young adults so they can walk in the victory and liberty that Jesus has for them. Every Sunday, the youth are dismissed for their own time of ministry and teaching. Other activities include youth activity night, youth outings, and youth retreats.

Children
We desire that all children that come into Children’s Church don’t leave the way they came.

Children are not the leaders of tomorrow, they are the leaders of today – in school and in church, no matter the age. A structured classroom setting is mixed with skits, crafts, puppets and activities to teach the children from the Word of God, and to enable them to minister to others. A strong emphasis is put on learning Scripture, actively participating in each class and worshiping our Living God, through music and prayer. We encourage children to pray for one another, with the laying on of hands and quoting applicable Scripture, with guidance from the teachers where needed.

Like the children, we desire to help build the faith of the young children.

Praise & Worship
Praise and worship is not just singing, but an opportunity to show God just how much you love Him.
|
|
|
|
Every Christian should have a personal worship time with the Lord everyday, along with actively participating in corporate worship at the local church. We encourage everyone to lift hands, dance and sing in the spirit, or bow at the altar. The purpose of the praise and worship ministry is to lead the people into the presence of God, preparing the hearts of the congregation to hear and receive the word of God. The ministry of praise and worship is not one of entertainment, but is to assist the congregation in their worship of God. The Worship team is not on the platform to perform, but to lead and encourage others in their own form of outward praise and worship. Heaven is a loud, praising place, and we are just preparing ourselves for there.

Bookstore
Helping build your faith with quality teachings & teachers.

The purpose of the LFCC bookstore is to provide faith building material for the congregation to supplement their spiritual diets. Excellent books and CDs are kept in stock to help people in every area of their lives, and this is a vital ministry in a local church.

Audio/Visual
The audio & video teams are crucial for a service.
|
|
|
|
The audio & video ministries plays a great role in enabling people to enter into praise & worship and receive from the message because of the clear, pleasant sound heard during a service. Video recording the service for DVD distribution and television show production is a vital part to this team. Audio/video workers duplicate services so that the message can have a long term, far-reaching impact. Past broadcast or sound knowledge is not needed, but a learning attitude is.

Hosting
This is the hospitality and welcoming committee of the church.
|
|
|
|
The purpose of our greeters is to provide a sincere welcome to people as they enter the house of the Lord, distribute weekly information, and show the love of Christ. Hosts and hostesses are also available to help visitors feel welcome by giving them a tour of the church, introducing them to the Pastors, showing them where the children’s ministry is, and giving them an information packet about the church.

Ushers
The usher ministry is very important to the smooth running of a service
|
|
|
|
Ushers greet and seat people as they arrive for service, assist during announcements and the offering, handle distractions during a service, maintain order during prayer lines, tidy up the sanctuary before and after service, and assist the Pastor when ministering to people. Ushers are not just traffic control, but a very vital part to having services run smoothly.
