• The Bible is the divinely, inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to men, inerrant, and the infallible rule of faith.  2nd Timothy 3:16, 17  

  • God is one revealed in three persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Romans 1:20, Deuteronomy 4:35, Matthew 28:19  


  • Man is, by nature, a sinner from birth.  Romans 5:12, Psalm 51:5


  • Jesus Christ was virgin-born, sinless, died on the cross for all of mankind’s sins, was raised from the dead on the third day, and is coming again.  Matthew 1:18, Hebrews 4:14, 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4, John 14:1-3  


  • Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.  God, the Son, is the second person of the Trinity.  John 8:24 & 58


  • Salvation is a free gift, bestowed by God’s grace and received by faith alone.  It is not of works lest anyone should be able to boast.

  • His sheep hear His voice, and no one can snatch them from His hand.  John 10:27, 28


  • Immersion in water of a professed believer is the Biblical baptism.  Romans 6:1-4   

    • It is a public profession of faith and such a baptism is symbolic of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.   Acts 8:36-39


  • The Church, believers in Jesus, is the Bride of Christ.      Ephesians 5:25-33  


  • The local church is governed by godly men known as elders or pastors.     Titus 1:5ff


  • Christians are endowed with spiritual gifts which enable them to serve in the church.  Ephesians 4:12ff   


  • Every believer receives the Holy Spirit at conversion.  The Holy Spirit leads, guides and seals the believer.  Ephesians 1:13, 14   The Holy Spirit is a personality and can be grieved.  He is the Comforter that Jesus promised to send to us when He left to prepare a place for us in His Father's house.  The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin.  He is God, the Spirit, third person of the Trinity.  Acts 5:1ff


  • The purpose of the Church on earth is to fulfill the last command of Jesus – The Great Commission.  Matthew 28:19, 20


  • Jesus Himself has promised to return from Heaven.  John 14:1-3    He will rule and reign for one thousand years on earth.  

    • Revelation 20:1-3   After the thousand years are over, there will be a new heaven and a new earth.  Revelation 21:1ff   

    • We are waiting for the appearance of His glory—our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He is our Blessed Hope.  Titus 2:13
